The Brazilian Journalism Research (BJR) mission is to become an excellence academic journal for journalism researchers in order to present, in the form of scientific articles, research results and to stimulate debates about theoretical and methodological issues of journalism research. At the same time it aims to contribute to the creation and strengthening of a network of journalism researchers at national and international levels, based on research groups in Brazil.
