Brazilian Journalism Research (BJR) is a quarterly scientific journal published by the Brazilian Association of Journalism Researchers (SBPJor). The goal of SBPJor is to encourage the growth and unification of a network of journalism researchers and establish a unique place for developing research in this field.

BJR regularly receives submissions of scientific articles in the English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French languages. The editions of the journal are published in English, and consultation versions of the articles may be published in Portuguese, Spanish and/or French. The journal also produces special editions that deal with specific themes.
